In New Mexico, Barack Obama began a brief Memorial Day address with the following statement…
On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes — and I see many of them in the audience here today – our sense of patriotism is particularly strong.
This is the best that the Democrats have?
If this were a prepared speech, then obviously Mr. Obama doesn’t understand that Memorial Day honors those who have died in our Nation’s military service.
Otherwise, you would have to conclude that he misspoke, as a result of giving an on-the-fly speech on a solemn ocassion.
Certainly not Presidential behavior in either case.

Update: Obama’s remarks were prepared. The inappropriate language was not a part of the prepared remarks. Sheesh, what a maroon.
