Eric Holder’s dept of social justice says that Preznit obama’s so-called “recess appointments” are entirely legal, saying that “the Senate’s periodic pro forma sessions in which no business is conducted have not enabled the chamber to advise and consent to nominations.” Dang! My predictions for 2012, in no particular order… 1) Romney unable to win nomination outright. Brokered convention, and a dark horse emerges … GOP ticket is Palin-Christie. 2) gold hits $2800 3) Down/S&P down 25% until Fed begins QE-3 in Summer ’12. Ensuing rally is up 25%, just in time for election day. 4) Joe [...]

It has been thirty years since Natalie Wood died in a boating accident. Now, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department plans to re-open the investigation. The case was re-opened in part because of questions from the media about the circumstances surrounding Wood’s death. Some of those questions were prompted by the captain’s account of the [...]

The look on the face of CBS’s Scott Pelley is one of elite douchebaggery, a knowing tell of a practiced “gotcha” moment. The response by Newt Gingrich was, well, priceless.… h/t ulsterman

The Occupation Crowd made it to Smith Park in Jackson, yesterday. Nuke’s contributor, Jseedubya was there to provide us with some idea of what happened. I went to the Occupy Jackson Rally this morning. I wanted to see for myself what this “movement” was all about. I understand the basis of their complaints, corporate greed, [...]
