At least State had a big win and the Sooners managed to squeak past the couch burners, while single-handedly making Tavon Austin a Heisman candidate. So we have that going for us.

Maybe the over hyped-over rated USC condoms can manage to win against the over hyped-over rated hunchbacks and return some sanity to the WIDE-WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS.

  2. Never a dull moment in college football! Maybe the football gods will show us some sanity this weekend.

    • T. Boone Pickens’ team travels to OU from Stoolwater this coming weekend.
      Could be a repeat of what happened last night. Holgerson installed the same offense at LosuR State before he went to WV. OU’s defense gave up 750 yards last night.

      • OU pulled it out — on the road. It has to be close to a distance record for a conference road trip.

        Well, maybe La Tech in the mtn west.. But, that’s not really football. herh.

      • It counts! Where does the scuttlebut put OU in the blowl picture?

      • No idea. Have to wait and see if they can beat LosuR State at home, then TCU on the road first and then wait and see what happens with KState and the wHorns. KState needs to lose another and OU to win out to go to the Fiesta. If they both win out, then KState goes and OU goes who knows where. If OU drops another? Could be the Toilet Bowl.

      • I’m hearing if the Dogs win next game against Mississippi and get either Gator or Peach.I’d rather see Peach, and get the recruiting ties in Atlanta.

      • Welp, there are some good recruits in Florida, too.

  3. As recruiting goes, if OU committ QB Cody Thomas doesn’t sign a baseball contract, he will be a future Heisman candidate. His team is 10-1 and just advanced through the first round(bi-district) at Cowboys Stadium last night, the last of four games there. He threw six TDs and ran for another.
    If you notice in the video, the offense they run at Heritage is very similar to the one OU uses.

  4. Big 12 Offensive player of the week went to Landry Jones, not Tavon Austin. Throwing the winning TD in a close game, a TD that was a result of Jones and Stills making a silent audible, made the difference.
    This makes the fifth week in a row that the team that beat W(by God)V had the Big 12 Offensive player of the week.
