The Lost Art of “The Cut Shell”

Just saw this over at Grouchy …

I think I just found a good use for Dad’s old breech break 16 ga shotgun in the cabinet. A target load should run about 5 bucks for a box of 25.

Talk about making your money go farther!

  1. Interesting, never would of thunk of it and a cheap, practical man stopping round.
Not for me, though, I would have to go and buy even more shotgun shells that I don’t possess. I have many, many, many BRI sabot slugs I bought back in the 90’s. I also have a whole fertilizer load of other shotgun shells, from everything from “Dragons Breath” to “Rhodesian Jungle” shells to “flechettes.”

  2. That looks like some sweet open range for shooting. Wish I had more of that around where I live. Where you shooting at?
