Happy Friday

  1. And a fine Happy Friday to you too, Swampie.

    Here’s a video I can’t get enough of.

  2. happy friday amigos!
here is a video…. for whom the cowbell tolls….

    • Of course we all know…it tolls for thee.

Sure good to hear those cow bells being rung with enthusiasm and spirit again, like they were in the 60’s.

  3. Now, of course, Happy Saturday! The grandsons are here today, the youngest one functioning as a human wrecking ball again. SwampMan was going out to his shop to attempt to work on his truck when the boys exploded out the door with him. He cast me an anguished look, and said “nobody can come outside until their lunch is ALL FINISHED”. I assured Papa that their lunch was indeed all finished. Bwahahaha. Then he tried bribery. “You can watch ANYTHING YOU WANT on TV while I’m outside….”

The oldest, well behaved grandson came inside to watch SpongeBob. The human wrecking ball went outside to the shop.

    • Swampman needs to chill and appreciate these times with that lil ol’boy and the fact that LOB wants to hang with him while he does manly stuff is a compliment.

  4. Aaaaack! I went out to check on status of human wrecking ball, and found him jacking up Papa’s hydraulic carts, then releasing them and riding them down, and scampering about on some scaffolding. Did you hear my shriek up there?

Papa said to quit freaking out and let the boy play.

  5. Heh. I sent the boys out to Papa again to play. Having a little boy yell “Meemaw, let’s play CATCH!” and fling a ball in my direction while I’m washing a glass casserole dish nearly caused some unfortunate additions to their vocabulary.

  6. Definitely getting linked. Great finds Swampie.
