  1. Happy Thanksgiving, Nuke!

  2. Thanks for the good wishes, and the best to you and your good looking home team.
I hope you all are feeling the same as I.

    • I roast my turkey with the breast side down until the last hour of roasting, so that the breast stays moist from the natural juices draining down.
Glad you liked the bacon wrapped version.
The flavors might be too confusing for my southern taste buds.

      • I’ve done it that way for the last 5 years and thought I’d try a new and improved version. No basting. I love it!

        (and quit pulling my leg)

    • Looks good. We deep fried 2 of them.

      • I like a good ol’fried turkey.
Can’t do it where I live now, in a condo. The fire marshal and my neighbors probably wouldn’t appreciate it.

  3. Nice family nuke.

  4. Robert D, I ain’t pulling on your leg…or finger.
I don’t think I would want another meat flavor mixed with my turkey. Besides, there is plenty of fat in my gravy and cornbread dressing. That the turkey is so low in fat is one its redeeming qualities.
When you roast it breast side down, it is self-basting.

  5. Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving.
Yes I am a day late and a dollar short.
