The Latino KKK?

Blogger Allahpundit draws a distinction between La Raza and MEChA in an attempt to discredit Tom Trancredo’s assertion that La Raza is “the Latino KKK” … link

But, as the late Rep. Charlie Norwood noted in a Human Events article in 2006,

Members of these radical, anti-American, racist organizations are frequently smoothly polished into public respectability by the National Council of La Raza….

The National Council of La Raza and its allies in public office make no repudiation of the radical MEChA and its positions. In fact, as recently as 2003, La Raza was actively funding MEChA, according to federal tax records.

And, as we’ve noted previously, the anti-American, racist bigotry is alive and well on college campuses across the nation, whether it comes from the MexicaMovement, or MECha, or any of the allied groups given a  sheen of  respectability by federally supported organizations like La Raza.

Just ask Lou Dobbs …

    NCLR gave the Georgetown University chapter of MEChA a $2500 grant in support of a regional student conference in 2003. That’s the extent of the connection between the two groups. And yes, NCLR has explicitly and forcefully repudiated the “todos para La Raza” quote.
