The events of last week will have long lasting consequences for thousands. These attacks may in fact, signal an end to the semi-hudna that has characterized the last year. Think the muzzles understand that keeping these kind of attacks off the front page might give them a good shot at an Obama presidency? Me too.

Yeah, I’m glad they made it out safe, and got back home, too.
After meeting the older gentleman, so many years ago, I have gotten to know his sibs, children, and grandchild. While he has lived a long and prosperous life, he still has much to live for.
Having his son tell me, in detail, how events unfolded, and how they made it out, left me as stunned, as he was in the telling.
One thing he did tell me, which made me appreciative of the country I live in. When they finally arrived at JFK, they were met by FBI, a state dept rep, and a crisis intervention nurse. He said they were very compassionate, yet professional, and wanted to assist them in any way possible. Also, they wanted to make certain of their contact info, in the event they needed to talk to them again, then assisted them to a car, which took them to LaGuardia.
