The barrel length doesn't really matter. Those frangible loads in the link are no joke. I have some for my .45 and my .44mag, and both make a one gallon milk carton filled with water vaporize at about fifty feet. They aren't for target practice, but serious man-stoppers. For standard rounds, I like the Federal Nyclads, Federal HydraShoks, Hornady XTPs, and Speer Gold Dots. If her snubbie is a .357mag or +P rated gun, Cor-Bon makes some good ammo, if you can find it. Usually a gun show is the best place to go.

Sorry, was watching the toob. When you say special loads, what do you have in mind? Most of what you will find is reasonably priced. Unless you want to order some of these man-stopper/grave planters, they are about three bucks a bullet.

Bob Beckel was arguing today on Fox that Obama and the Democrats should just forget about the south because the South was too racist for him to win any major victories. Beckel then went on a couple of rants describing the South as Appalachia Country and even hating on people from the South because they eat catfish. I felt his key bigoted statement was “them people” down there if they cant shoot it, eat it, drink it or (expletive deleted) it they are not interested in your message. And I thought Obama was bad.
