The Bradley Project.
This is a fascinating study, that probably should have a thread of it’s own.
Snip:
“The Bradley Project’s report, E Pluribus Unum, addresses the urgent problem of American identity in our global and multicultural age, and its wise recommendations for promoting civic consciousness and civic understanding couldn’t be more timely or more fitting. At stake is the future well-being not only of our national idenity and common public life—our unum—but also of the many subcultures within American society itself—our pluribus.”
Two Cheers for Obama! (but not three)

This one definitely left a mark.

It’s also the Tee to Hee.
Too bad this didn’t come out BEFORE Obama spoke to AIPAC.
This is a classic example of the type of follower of B-HO has.
Calling Obama black is an insult to his mother.
Barack Obama is not black. He is the first mixed-race politician ever to get this far in the onerous and arduously testing American electoral process.

Heh. Well, I know which candidate the neutered men support..
You do?
Let me in on your epiphany.

The one that doesn’t like guns, trucks, or fighting, of course.
Just got back from the BBQ place where the parking lot was filled with trucks with boat trailers. Been a right warm weekend here, but father in law says up in middle Georgia it was a lot warmer.
Hey! You seen them grandbabies lately?
/Still recovering from grandsons yesterday.
Not lately.
My youngest granddaughter has been having some health concerns and testing. It’s been a nervous couple of weeks, as we finally found out that there is no diabetes, but a hypothyroid. God Bless Her, she’s only five. At least we now know, but until she visits an endocrinologist this week, we won’t know why this occurred so suddenly. Lymphs? Pituitary? Other? But for now, we are at least happy to know there was no Type II.
I see grandson fairly regularly, though. I love that little ol’boy.
Good news on the diabetes, not so good on the thyroid. As you said, still need to know why, but at least you know what.
My daughter is more relaxed than a week ago, as am I.
Awareness is 85% of the solution.
I heard there was some rockin’an’a'rollin’ up close to where Robert D resides, if you can call the Reno area close. Not big’uns, but some high 3′s on the Richter.
Yeah, I saw that! Call me crazy, but I’ve been checking the USGS earthquake site pretty much on a qd basis. There’s been a lot of movement along the ring o’ fire, and I’m surprised we (north America) haven’t experienced some bigger ones.
Well, we are due. Each day that goes by without a major release of energy on the plates, means that when it does release, it’s gonna be even more devastating.
It’s always nice to have a confirmed diagnosis, too. It’s the not knowing and worrying about the worst that is so wearing on the parents/relatives/grandfather.
Yep.
Of course, more tests to come, as we need to know why.
We just want a healthy little girl, and hate to see her in any discomfort, or at risk for long term health problems.
Gotsta crash.
Night Swamps.
On its face, the Bradley Report could be considered an excellent and provactive document to help us return to a recognized National Identity. But, the report can hardly be considered a document in which the views of the American people are espoused given two primary limits of the study itself. The issues deal with a sample size of less than 1% of the American citizenry. The second, is that the participants were not randomly selected. These two issues alone all but nullifies the Bradley Project as it only speaks to the ideals expressed by 2400 people taking an internet survey.
