Dang, it was so pleasant with the evening breeze coming through the window last night that I sat down to read a book and enjoy that breeze but must have fallen asleep about one page into it, jumped out of the chair because I saw a tornado out the window comin’ for the house, and realized I’d been sleeping, it was time to wake up, and I’d been hearing the weather channel talking about the prospect for tornado outbreaks from Texas through the midwest today.
It is going to turn back to record cold temperatures for this time of year next week. It’s gonna be more like January than mid April.

It was one wild whammer-jammer around here starting at about 4a.m. Some poor folks got torn up pretty bad, about a quarter of a million lost power, 18 wheelers got flipped, and one got lifted up and turned around to face the direction he had been coming from.
All I got was woke up to hurricane force winds, massive lightening strikes, and blinding rain. Didn’t lose power this time.
It was a bad’un, fo’sho’.
