   On another note, that stupid, underpowered graphics card I installed on Saturday, and was glitchy as it could be, and caused me to spend most of Saturday, and a good part of Sunday, downloading drivers and hot fixes…to no avail, had to go. It actually lowered my Windows Experience Index, so much so, that the graphics wouldn’t activate the Windows Aero.
   So I spent much of last night researching a better upgrade, found what I needed at Fry’s, yanked the old/new one, and replaced it with the new/new one this afternoon. The install was quick and simple, no conflicts, no glitches, and my WEI score for graphics and graphic gaming and 3d business applications are almost at the max. On a scale with 6.0 being the highest, I am 5.6 on graphics and 5.9 on gaming/3d.
   WHOO-HOO!
   Maxing out the memory with two new memory chips didn’t hurt, either.
