Most of the time, the head coach says “go on, get out of here and start hiring and recruiting.”
The year OU lost to LSU for the championship, Bob Stoops brother, who was the defensive coordinator, got the job at Arizona, and he left before the team started practicing for LSU.
OU’s defense sucked big time, that night.

I saw Freddie in his last performance, at the house that Freddie built. He died not long after that, after banging an equipment box against his leg, and the blood clot went to his heart.

As for Nick going to WVU…what happened to their coach?
