  1. rollin’ rollin’ rollin’
    keep those Huckees rollin’

    Where’s beto?

  2. It is great to see the blogospere become a source of major impact for Gov. Huckabee. The alternative sources of opinion and information are becoming more and more important as the biases of the MSM become more pronounced and vitriolic.

  3. Just saw this on Fox. Al qaeda is the suspect.

Two Car Bomb Attacks Target U.N. Agency in Algerian Capital, Killing 45

Suspicions quickly focused on the Algerian wing of al-Qaida. The date — the 11th — could point to an Islamic terror link. Al-Qaida in Islamic North Africa claimed responsibility for attacks on April 11 that hit the prime minister’s office and a police station, killing 33 people.

    The rest

  4. A guy from Politicaltrends.com was just on Fox news saying that the more negative the commentary from the blogasphere the better the candidate was doing. His chart here. Looks like Huck is doing well. Here’s another.Lloooookking Goooood……

  5. HA has 8 hit pieces on Huckabee at their site currently. Michelle and her boys are getting more worried by the moment.

  6. Interesting. The staff faculty lunchroom is usually busily debating the Republican candidates speeches and positions (along with Tebow’s Heisman trophy, the current basketball season, and how to raise the reading averages of some of the students who are so lazy they would have somebody do their breathing for them if they could. The “H” word is never mentioned, as apparently nobody cares about what her positions on anything are.

  7. I think everyone assumes she has it wrapped up. On the other hand, they’ve heard her screeching for however many years now, and it all sounds the same

  8. Howdy.
Man, that’s a whole bunch of new folks trying to climb on that bandwagon. Hope they can all play their instruments.

So, Robert D, is MM a Mitt kinda guy, or a Rudy kind of guy?

  9. They want Fred, but it’s getting to be more like anybody but Huck over there.

  10. Hunh.
Well…some folks are either going to have to hold their nose and vote, or not vote at all. The first choice is to make sure HRT stays in the Senate, the second to guarantee she will.

  11. *update*
    67 now dead in Algiers.

  12. I had a little conversation over there last night on that subject. It also seems allahpundit is not voting at all. Dishing all that shiite, and he’s not voting. I can’t hang there too long or i’ll get banned.

  13. Huckabee gets Minuteman head’s backing.
Now, that’s what I’m talking about!

  14. A person with a long history of blogging on culture and politics, and isn’t going to vote?
    I spell it this way…..H_Y_P_O_C_R_I_T_E!

  15. He’s not voting?
    What a pussy.

  16. I got that from a regular over there, I didn’t here it from him, but it was said it was because his vote wouldn’t count in NY anyway. I just couldn’t believe it, being from CA I know about the odds, but if you don’t participate you are not a citizen and I said as much. Also if you don’t plan to vote, shut up and sit down.

  17. I’m definitely voting, as I have in every election since I turned 18. (Dang, that’s a bunch of elections.) The consensus in the faculty lunchroom is that there is no way that Hillary is going to win, and I haven’t heard from anybody yet that supports her. I have not yet decided on a candidate. I like Mitt’s business acumen, Fred’s federalist stance, I would have happily supported McCain except for that whole illegal immigrant thing, I like Rudy’s approach to law and order, and Huckabee’s backing of the fair tax. I don’t have the luxury of indecision for very much longer.

The more conservative candidates are being looked at very closely because the teachers can see up close what happens to the kids with the breakup of the traditional family.

  18. As close as some of the votes have been since 2000, all it takes is a few like him/her to send the election to the other side.
I was listening to someone on the radio, not to long ago, and they said that the Senatorial districts that went to the donks in 06 were won by a total of about eighty thousand votes, and the House by about one hundred eighty thousand. Every vote counts, I don’t care what state you are in.

  19. Good points, Swampie, though I am much harsher on Rudy as a potential candidate, due to his pro-abortion, pro-homo marriage, and anti-gun positions. I do think he would make a good AG, Director of the FBI, or some such top level office, but not as the CinC.

  20. Interesting comments. I just posted a new thread, and concluded it this way…

    ———

“This Republican primary race is wide open. The reason is because there is an excellent field of candidates. They are men, not ideologues, and they are patriots all.

Whomever emerges will get my vote and my support in the general election.

I hope it’s Huck. Go Mike!”
    ——-

Allahpundit and anybody else who is too cool for school to go and vote can just kiss my azz.

And, now, I gotta get some rest. Loooong day, and again tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day.

    Nite all.

  21. Some boy tried to hit a girl at school and missed, but she didn’t. She broke his jaw in 3 places and is pressing charges. Do not mess with redneck girls.

  22. Dang…sounds like Kordie Mae Poovy is alive and well, and now residing in Florida, instead of Moreland, Ga.

  23. Uhh…obscure Lewis Grizzard character.
You know Lewis, he said this:

“Instead of getting married again. I’m going to find a woman I don’t like and give her a house.”

  24. Alrighty then.

  25. Whomever emerges will get my vote and my support in the general election.

I hope it’s Huck. Go Mike!”

I was about to say I agree 100% with that when an old friend called. Sorry

  26. Of course I agree with the “every vote counts” sentiment too.

  27. No friend like an old friend.
Was just emailing granpabob. They’ve been getting slammed with the ice storm in KC.
He’s good, he’s got electricity, plenty of food, and lots of ammo.

  28. That’s good to hear. That ice storm stuff must suck.

  29. G’night, Nuke.

Do not mess with redneck girls, part deux: A man was messing with one of our high school girls at the fair, she decked him with one punch, took off her baseball cap, and said “damn, he got blood all over it.”

  30. Well, if grampabob is getting lots of ice, so is my little bro in KC MO.

  31. Dang, I was painting wood with leather dye and lost track of time. Now my fingers are turquoise and purple and scarlet with some gold acrylic overlaying it. It is not coming off, so I’m going to look stranger than usual tomorrow. Why can’t I just buy ornaments like ordinary people? Plus I have to be up in approximately 5 hours. G’night.

  32. Paint the ornaments, not yourownself, Swampie.
Yeah, tens of thousands without power in the KC area. His MIL had to come stay with him and Olive Oyl, til her power comes back.

  33. G’nite Swamps.

  34. Nine Huck bashing posts. A new record!! Nothing good to say about your guy? Probably because his highest poll numbers were before he declared.

    R D on December 12, 2007 at 12:01 AM

Posted that at HA and nothing, they’re too busy bashing.

  36. Henh.
    The ol’pointy stick routine.
    Night Robert D.

  37. G’nite n2l.
