Voodoo chile…henh.
My R&R guitar playing nephew, back when he was still in high school, was looking at a cassette I had with this song by SRV, and he said, “voodoo chili?” I couldn’t help but laugh, and yank his chain a little.

Global Warming Is So Yesterday!
Viewing alert, the ManBearPig episode of South Park is on in thirty minutes.
What a wonderful way to end a weekend, a weekend that featured a giddy algore.

ManBearPig…henh.
Dang, I missed Al Gore on South Park? I’m seriously bummed. I need punishment. Maybe I’ll bake a chocolate cake and not eat any.
I know that some overenthusiastic promoter guaranteed that 2 billion people would watch the global warming concerts or some such nonsense, but according to these stats, something over a billion television sets have been sold over time, not all the television sets that have been sold could possibly be working, and of those that are working, I have to doubt that they would all be tuned to a giant whineathon about global warming. I didn’t bother to look at it, and I don’t actually know of anybody that was interested, although no doubt it was quite popular in the northeast and on the left coast.
And if you’re really, really, almost to the point of cutting your wrists just to watch them bleed bored (but not bored enough to watch Al Gore, needless to say), you can always go to the world population clock and watch it increase. Then you can sit there and watch the numbers change and ask yourself “But how does it KNOW?”
I couldn’t find a world television clock marking off the increase of television sets which is really what I wanted to know.
Did you see this?
I guess you missed it, if you didn’t have it on about thirty nine minutes ago. I’ll never get tired of that episode…EXCELSIOR!
