Yes–you heard that right. The company that made Ron Popeil a household name has announced that it will try to continue operations while it works out a plan to pay its debts.

But wait, there’s more! The company has reached a non-binding agreement with a new buyer, but it’s not former owner and founder Popeil. The man considered to be the father of the infomercial is too busy working on his latest invention — a home turkey fryer.

    /I need to be more careful in my purchasing habits, but it is really, really hard to find items that are NOT made in China.

  7. I was always amazed at what he could cook and do in less than 30 minutes or an hour. WA….LA…and he did it all in a thing that goes round and round on your counter…lol
