Heh. They also overlooked the fact that many of us Dems that voted for Nader knew that he didn't have a snowball's chance on a Phoenix sidewalk in July, hated and distrusted Al Gore as a candidate (which was subsequently born out by his attempt to selectively recount the votes) yet did not really want to vote for W because we felt that JEB should be the Bush running for President on the Republican ticket.

Those close to Al Gore say he is not running for president.

Gore spokeswoman Kalee Kreider makes it pretty clear:

Gore hasn't refused to ever enter the race. But, Kreider said, "He truly has no intention of running."

Gore obfuscates the issue, denying that he has plans to run, while also giving supporters hope that he might be persuaded to run.

1) A third-party candidate in 2000 was at least partly responsible for making the election close enough in Florida that the Reps. were able to steal it;

What total BS. While it is true Nader took some votes away from Gore, the vote in Florida would have been close anyway. Had Gore not tried to steal the election, as clearly indicated in Willian Kristol's book "At Any Cost," we could have had a total recount of all votes in Florida, and not algores cherry-picking just the precincts that favored him, to try and get just enough votes, which is what all of the litigation was over, gore wanting only certain precincts recounted, and as many military absentee ballots thrown out as he could. Then the issue proceeded to the Supremes, which at the time was dominated by leftards 5-4. The Supremes ruled that the vote recounts were illegal by a 7-2 vote, but disagreed that the remedy to end the count was the proper course, but this remedy held with a 5-4 vote.
You and others can claim the GOP stole the election, but they didn't.
So get over it.
Gore got more popular votes, but not more electoral votes, which is why we have the system we do, so states with larger populations can't dictate to the rest of the country how they will be governed. Leap ahead to 2006, and you will find that W got more popular votes than any President in the history of this great nation. That's despite the countless incidents of Dhimmicrat voter fraud.
Personally, I don't give a shiite what algore or Shrillery do or don't do, neither is fit to lead or govern this country, and in a perfect world, both would be shunned, laughed at, and ignored.

Met the grandson and daughter for lunch today; I did not have time for it/not in my schedule but the grandson got up and put his socks and shoes on over his jammie feet so he could go to MeeMaw's house and he even refused to eat breakfast because he wanted pancakes at MeeMaw's house, so how could I not see him for at least a little while? While at the restaurant, he informed me that "I bite mommy arm, got powpow on bottom." I said "And what did you learn from that?" He thought for a minute, and said "Meemaw bite mommy on arm.
