  2. thanks, VH!

  3. Where are these idiots from? Never heard of one of them, and doubt I will ever again, after 08.

  4. One of the two dems who crossed over was Gene Taylor, from the MS Gulf Coast

  5. Sounds like he got homesick.

  6. Your welcome. :) Anything to help a friend. And our Country of course.

  7. Yeah, treason is right. I’m not sure I could work up any more contempt for them if I tried.

  8. Nuke, Chad has a new video up, called Confusion on Capitol Hill.

  9. Sweetness and Light has the list up, including their home states.

  10. Mark Kirk is a former naval officer. Used to lead the 4th of July parade down the street in front of my house. Still get e-mails from his outfit. 10th district is dicey. Was at one time Donald Rumsfeld’s district but it was gerrymandered to include 100% dem areas. He’s playing the odds but he’d make a great VP

  11. He’s got some ’splainin’ to do Bonz.
But the fact that you vouch for him says a great deal about his character.
    Good to see you, bud.

  12. nuke
I suppose it’s a typical case of my guy is good, it’s those other damn congressmen that should be hanged ;)

  13. Hey bonz.
He might have been a good guy, once, but one must question his motives now.
I view all of those that voted for this as being AQ in D.C. If everything they do is for political opportunism, it is no excuse for giving aid and comfort to our enemies.

  14. William Kristol has an interesting new piece up.
The Democrats’ ‘Slow-Bleed’ Strategy-A disgraceful moment in Congress.

No, the Democrats and the antiwar groups shouldn’t “be seen” as “hand in glove.” But they are. The national Democratic party has become the puppet of antiwar groups. These groups do not merely accept-reluctantly–American defeat in the Middle East. They seek to hasten it. Some seem to welcome it.

The leaders of those groups believe their slow-bleed strategy is “kind of an ingenious thing.” In truth, it’s not really so “ingenious.” But it is disgraceful. In our judgment, it will fail as a political strategem, it will fail to derail the president’s policy–and we will ultimately prevail in Iraq. The slow-bleed strategy will, however, stain the reputation of its champions, and of the useful idiots in both parties who have gone along with it.

Bill Kristol isn’t right often enough. Perhaps this will be one of excellent prediction.

  15. President’s Day Open Trackback Weekend

I’m looking forward to a three-day weekend! My last one for a long time. And there’s so many things I need to do…
