I can’t begin to count the number of times I’ve heard my friends on the Left describe Conservatives as wanting to establish a “Theocracy” in America. Maybe it just boils down to understanding what a theocracy is…..for that, all we have to do is to look at the Magic Kingdom….
Riyadh – A Saudi Arabian court has convicted and sentenced 20 foreigners to receive lashes and spend several months in prison for attending a party where alcoholic drinks were served and men and women danced, a Saudi newspaper reported on Sunday.
The kingdom’s religious police arrested 433 foreigners, including more than 240 women, for attending the “impudent” party in Jiddah, the state-guided newspaper Okaz reported.
It did not identify the foreigners, give their nationalities or say when the party took place.
Judge Saud al-Boushi sentenced the 20 to three to four month in prison and ordered them to receive an unspecified number of lashes.
Oh BTW, same goes for the charge of “police state”. For a good example of that, just take a look across the Gulf of Mexico to Venezuela.

People with no rhythm have to ruin it for everybody else.
well they can crack the whip to a beat
Some people that I’ve seen dance deserve at least the flogging. (i don’t dance in public, but only for fear of ridicule)
Robo
Heh. Yeah, you have a point, Robert D; I’ve seen a few people that I would have considered bringing back stocks for.
You’re going to have to share the Robo story one of these days RD. Heh™
/still chucklin’
Someday…
o garsh I heard this…who still “flogs” in this day and age?..Gee I wonder..snicker
Theocracy, police state, Nazi, even democracy, the left needs a dictionary.
Yeah, or maybe they should suck that dic…tionary’s pages.
Any way to get it into their mind. Any orifice will do.
Hmmm…Internet backbone at center of suspected attack.
Henh, Robert D., you making fun of my typing impediment?
Typing impeed…impide…impeeded..What? You? I don’t think so.
Oh…just a little of the old doublet entendre, then.
Check this out… massive weapons cache discovered ten miles from Baghdad.
Dang, this is thread worthy, but won’t have time to do it justice, so just enjoy the link.
Fiscal Revelation.
Acting on a tip from a local resident, the troops conducted an intentional search of the area which resulted in the largest cache find in 2nd “Commando” Brigade’s history. In all, 1,129 mortar rounds were uncovered.
I like the first part of that sentence. More locals seem to be willing to get involved. There is hope yet!
I hope you’re right.
I’m dogged out guys, and looking at a looong day tomorrow, leaving out about 6:30.
See y’all tomorrow nite.
N2L, isn’t it amazing how the good news gets covered up or spun these days?
That’s been a trend for several years now. The more the Iraqi’s see the MNF as helping and not as occupiers, and the true nature of the militias and the insurgents. The weapons cache discoveries in Anbar are way up too.
G’nite nuke. Thanks…
Robo
Night nuke. Suck it up and go, and we’ll catch up with you then manana.
Robert D., I’ve long since ceased to be amazed by the LameStream media and their agenda driven news. Thank God for the innernut, and that we can get our info without their leftard filters.
N2L, it is amazing to me, that the leftards think we should be able to liberate a country and stabilize it in just a few short years. They just pass over the WW2 thing with Germany and Japan. Just a little glitch in history, I guess.
Of course they gloss over that info, and spread the lie that our involvement in Iraq has gone on as long as WWII, without mentioning the war in Iraq was over in twenty three days, and the occupation and democratization in Europe and Japan took much longer. It doesn’t serve their purpose, and knowing theat most Americans aren’t that critical, and the youngest voters have had years of indoctrination in public schools and universities to hate all things conservative, they can just ignore people like us, and continue on with their lies.
History is not one of the things on the list of Liberal Studies. Although, I will say that when I was in school, I got pretty tired of the 1492 crap. History needs to be made relevant to our world now, to make it important to the young ones listening now. I’ve learned more about history since Sept 11 2001 than I ever absorbed in school.
I forgot to say that I was sad to say that….
I’ve always found history interesting and relevant. Only learning to recite dates and events doesn’t teach anything, the teaching of history needs to be done with relevance and perspective.
Reading classic literature was always a great intro for me into learning history. I don’t think reading classic lit is really a focus of education at the elementary, secondary, or high school levels anymore. Kids in high school now probably know who started MTV, but not anything about the magna carte.
BTW N2L, is Bike Week after the Daytona 500, or did I miss it? I’m sure I didn’t miss it, please tell me I didn’t miss it…
I need to shut it down, bud.
Fading fast.
Bike Week is the first weekend of March…you didn’t miss it, you still have time to load up Momma, and ride on down there.
A good teacher can do wonders for a young mind.
Oh good…just that little 3000 mile ride. Oh, and that little problem of not having a bike…I think I’ll watch it on TV.
Well, it’s more like the first through the 2nd weekend in March. D’OH, relatives will be passing through shortly; thanks for the reminder.
I gotta be up too dang early tomorrow myself and will have to cut it short tonight in order to make my appointment tomorrow. G’night, y’all.
G’nite Swamps. A little more than 4 hours tonight?
All of those are minor problems, Robert D. There’s still time.
But then, I’m only a loaded and soaked diaper drive away, and I’ll be watching on tv, too.
/henh
DAMN! Now that’s one of the scariest things I’ve heard, N2L. I hope that there aren’t loads of people showing up in Depends for Bike Week.
Yeah…really, but I get fussy if I don’t get changed often.
/smelly too :red:
Now That’s Funny! I don’t care who you you are! I’m in tears, N2L….
D’OH! This person should have NEVER been out helping to contain an outbreak of known H5N1 virus if he was incubating an upper respiratory infection.
/fingers crossed.
#36-Swampie, from what I’ve seen, about half of the attendees are probably wearing them. That’s why they now call it ‘Trailer Week.’ Got to have some place to toss them loaded down diapers while rolling down the highway.
Uh Oh..I hope you were refering to the news today about the NASA girl.
What NASA girl?
Heh. Yeah, N2L, they don’t show pictures of the majority of the bike weekers and there is a reason for that.
/Don’t even want to think of some of the people that will be flashing next month.
Robert D, if she was planning on an insanity plea, well, she has my vote.
OMG, just clicked on Fox, and Greta is on with a story caption of “Lust In Space.” I mean this tragedy tv pooh is just so stupid, she is even interviewing a grade school friend.
I’m now on the Blues channel.
All I can say is, the dude she was lusting after must have been one Hunka-Hunka burning love, to got so ApeShit over, and toss her kids away like that.
/sad, really
ROFL,lust in space! All I can say is geez, have a modicum of dignity, people.
N2L This one.
Diapers are involved
this should be it
Henh…Robert D., just messin’, tryin’ to get a few more tears out of ya’.
Anyway, my last word on this, or anyother matter, is a song by T-Bone Walker, for our lady astronut.
Night y’all.
I’m forever astounded at the naivete displayed by people that if they just get rid of the hated rival (and the husband) the two of them will then live happily ever after in monogamous bliss forsaking all others, etc. Whatever.
Swamps, Insanity or insanitary? Either way, that woman is just not right. And to think, she was just on one of our most technical and sensitive pieces of equipment just last July. Scary, to say the least.
G’night, N2L. G’night, Robert D!
She’s nutz Swampie, the model of rational man does not apply.
/gone
Either way, Robert D, her career is gone, his career is gone, and probably the career of the intended victim is gone as well. That’s a lot of training money that just got flushed.
N2L, I knew that. Just seeing if I could actually find a link and make it work.
Gnite my friend, sleep well.
Night, N2L, I enjoyed the T-Bone Walker serenade for the lovelorn.
Swamps, the other two shouldn’t be effected, unless politics get in the way. One crazy woman should not end the career of other dedicated people.
And you DID IT, Robert D! You are the linkmeister now.
G’nite Swamps, G’nite all….
The military does not look with favor on either fraternization or adultery. We shall see how that plays out.
Hey! You noticed! Linky be me now.

As a civilian, I forget that part. Thank you for the perspective.
The strict policies really are for the good of the service and service members (lots of potential for abuse there).
Goodnight!
SwampWoman
I hope you weren’t offended. I really meant it when I said as a person that never served, I forget the rules of the military. G’nite Swamps, sleep well…
Robert D, I am not easily offended, just trying to explain.
Yet another sad example of what happens when people take their religion a little too seriously.
