It was a favorite game of my Siamese cat, springing from couch to bookshelf with me in hot pursuit until he finally would surrender and lie down to be vacuumed. Anyone that would have caught a glimpse of us, though, would have concluded that I had taken leave of my senses. He would often initiate the chase game, either meowing loudly to get my attention and then swiping his claws at the sofa (a big no no) or leaping up in front of me while I was quietly reading, fangs hanging out and claws extended to attack my reading material.

He is afraid of the vacuum, so I always give him fair warning, when I’m taking it out, and moving to the room where he is.
I love that little guy. Besides, trying to give that big rascal his thyroid medicine, is all the work out I need, and I did that this morning, and will need to do it again later.
