D'OH! I've been running around all day chasing the grandson since 7:30 a.m. and just now discovered that the reason that Doberman wasn't underfoot is that she is feeling really REALLY bad. She's always eating weird things; the sheep corn, the horse food, miscellaneous turds from horse to cat, and now the bundle of energy is just lying around looking miserable.

I have grandparent duties today with grandson.

I took him out to breakfast at IHOP this morning, and he stared suspiciously at my plate when the server set it in front of me. He had a couple bites of French toast and bacon, then told me "Watch out, MeeMaw! SNAKES!" pointing at my plate. "No, those are sausages, not snakes." "Yes, MeeMaw, SNAKES." Like those dirty bastards in the kitchen snuck a snake on MeeMaw's plate instead of real food.

Whenever we go to a shopbot jamboree, USB drives are everywhere as people come up to share their saved pictures of their projects.

SwampMan would be lost without his USB. If I had one, I would definitely lose it so I just skip that intermediate step of actually buying one and putting stuff on it before I lose it. This way, I'm in the same situation I'd be in anyway, but without the stress.

/Because I like efficiency.

Hmmm...maybe that's why I don't know anything about those usb thingies. I only have the one computer. Next up, find out what those ipod and mp3 thingies are, and what they are for.
To be honest, I still prefer my home entertainment/theater system more than anything else. What I want more than anything else is to upgrade my surround system, starting with this below..maybe I should write Santa.
